Anyone got a recipe to Pickled Shrooms? I love pickled stuff so was wondering if anyone has done this or knows how? and would you loose any or alot of potence when you pickle them?

The closest thing is putting them in honey I think.

but you have to use dried mushrooms because if you use fresh mushrooms the water in the may ferment in the honey

blech, I don't want to think of a pickled cubensis, just sounds nasty (In my opinion :laugh: )

Well, I would think you would loose alot of potency seeing how when you pickle something, it has to either be boiled, or have a boiling mixture poured on top of it. Basically, anything picled is chemiocaly changed by an acid, which I would imagine has a strage effect of the mushrooms. But hey, try it if you want. Heres a link to some good recipes..

If you do pickle your shrooms, you might have to drink the brine because alcohol absorbs psylocybin. Vinegar is acidic alcohol. People actually use alcohol to extract psylocybin.
