Whats the best WBS tek?

I have been having problems with excessive moisture in my WBS jars and in turn, I get wet rot in my jars, leaving them to be tossed out in the yard. I need an easy tek that limits the chances of too much moisture. Im tired of wasting jars, grains, time and money. Please help.

Soak seeds 12+ hrs. Afterwards heat them up on the stove, drain with a colander, and mix them up (in the colander) every ten or fifteen minutes. You know if your seeds are dry when you can put your hand(or spoon) into the seeds and only a couple are sticking to your hand.

Let me look for the tek I use... Here we are http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/16069543#16069543.. after the boil, though, I lay the seed out on a towel and mix it up to let the outside of the seeds dry

RR's rye TEK from the videos works damn well for me.
With WBS, you're just gonna have to try different things. It varies a lot from brand to brand and even bag to bag.

That would be useful if I had Rye, but I have WBS. Perhaps I will try this one later.

you can get some cheap bulk bags off amazon. sometime you'll get lucky and find sellers offering free shipping. just grabbed a 25lb bag for 19.99 + free shipping.

I never see them with free shipping. It's always about $75-100 for a 50lb bag of rye after shipping.

You say your having a problem with moisture content..
Yet you haven't given us the method or steps with which you took.
The Search Engine will give you plenty of Teks.
I rinse my WBS well. I start my soak in scaling hot water from the tap for 12-24 hours. Pour grains with water into large pot... Then turn on and bring to a boil. Let boil 10-15 minutes. (Not Simmer)
Spread grains out over a few layers of paper towels. Use a spoon to move the grains around, about every 5 minutes.
Fully dry in under 20 minutes... easy.
Load jars.

dying, I have tried a few different teks and I always come up with too much moisture. On my last attempt, I even let the seeds sit out on a towel for an hour or so and rubbed them with the towel, still got wet rot. I smoke alot of pot and do not remember which tek I used exactly but in the future,I will keep a log of teks so I can refer to them when/if I have more problems. And thanks for your reply.

If you let your seeds sit in a colander and just wait it out they will dry. another good way to test the seeds moisture is to put a few on a piece of toilet paper. Let it sit for a few minutes. Remove the seeds from the toilet paper and if they leave any wet spots then they aren't dry enough.
patience is key
