print to syringe procedure question

Hello all,
I am looking to make 3 syringes from a single large, dark print. My SAB is no longer with me and I was wondering if this procedure would work:
1) Create injection port on large plastic bag with RTV silicone 2) Put print in zip lock bag 3) Boil water, suck up boiled water with 3, unopened syringes. 4) Let water cool in syringes and then shoot water into ziplock bag. 5) Suck up spore water with the 3 syringes.
If you think it's too risky I will just make a new SAB when I get a chance. Thanks.

A single print should make 20-50 syringes.
1. boil water 2. suck water into sterile syringes 3. let water cool 4. scrape a little bit of a print into a clean shot glass 5. expel water from one syringe into shotglass 6. suck water back up 7. repeat 4-6 two more times

Unfortunately I only have 3 syringes.. I kinda gave all my equipment away hence the lack of a SAB. For your method I feel as though I would certainly need a SAB.. I'll probably just man up and make a new one as I'll be needing one down the line anyways

No SAB needed. I do it regularly in open air. However, I've been using the same 60cc syringe and needle for a while, just sterilizing them with boiling water and flame.
Search for syringe teks and you'll find several very similar to what I said, and most will say that SAB is unnecessary.

Awesome, thanks. One last (potentially) stupid question.. Should I have the needle tip attached or just use the plunger?

Use the flame sterilized needle, and you better get another tote to make a glovebox with. Failure to use a glovebox/still air box or flowhood will deliver a higher fail rate. RR
