Debating wick idea for cakes

i wanted to start a thread to discuss the possibility of running a wich through the cake and leaving like 3 to 6 inches hanging out so that when you suspend the cake on wire over perilte the wick dangles into water and is absorbed internally in the cake. This is just a rough draft of an idea and feedback is encouraged.

i see this working if the water at the bottom will be in the dark with a good ratio of h2o2 to keep contams from breeding on the wick but still seems like to much work for a cake and its yeild also the mycelium will definately gow down the wick wich i dont think will be good

a "well" to hydrate the cakes, i think u inject like 6cc of water a day or 10-20 after a flush.

that's a great idea. Has this worked well for you and is it better or worse than dunking?

It is certainly an "experimental" idea, and as such deserves a place in advanced cultivation.

I am going to try this, does anyone know of a nutrient sollution that wold sustain the cakes threw many more flushes, kind of like growing hydro weed, you dont need dirt just add nutrients to the water,
