Pics* LC>WBS and G2G>WBS mycelium look very different--thoughts anyone?
    #17323323 - 12/02/12 09:00 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

* Having problems posting the pics, so here's the link to the imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/yipIV

I might just be a worrywart, but it would seem that my G2G mycelium growth looks very different from my LC mycelium growth.

I haven't been able to find any info on this anomaly with the search engine.

I am using WBS for spawn, and dextrose/lme for the LC...both the master jar used in transfers and the LC were colonized with cubes with all work done in still air box.  Any thoughts on these pics? I thought the wispy mycelium grown from LC looked like cobweb at first, but I don't think it is now (though is did grow very quickly, covering the edges first). Do all these look healthy?

Any input is greatly appreciated, and thanks to all for looking!

Why aren't the coffee filters necessary?
