where i'm from it costs plenty more to buy them than it does to make them yourself, but as you mentioned you must have the time and the dedication

I haven't really had a trip yet, i've only done them twice and the first time i did it was with my boyfriend and we went through some huge emotions, from being so upset, to so in love and crying cos we were so happy, then we get to his house and everything is hilarious, we watch a movie and feeling the other person's touch was absolutely amazing, and the second time was at school and i had to write myself a note to not talk during class otherwise people would know i was fucked on something...lol. But then everything just felt really slow and relaxing...but i haven't hallucinated or anything yet...

What is the total cost too grow them (enviroment and syringe). I looked into it and it i think it will cost like 70 dollars totall, am i right?

um..try more like $200 dollars for a good set. Thats what I have seen atleast. Check out shrooms.ca They got kit pricings.

$200?  Jesus, no.  Prices approximated:

Pressure Cooker off E-bay: $20 + 7 shipping
1 dozen Kerr 1/2 pint wide-mouth canning jars: $7 and change
Tyvek Filters: Free at post office.  %)
One small bag of perlite, and one of verm: about $7
One-pound bag of brown rice: $1.25
30-gallon plastic container thingie: $8
Spore syringe: $15
Liter H202: $1.50
Liter isopropyl alcohol: $1.00
Spray bottle: $2.00
Damp-rid: $4

...That's...$73.75, without tax.  :wink:  That's also basically the absolute minimum you can grow with.  Note, of course, that you can scrounge a lot of these things -- like the terrarium -- for free.

If it's warmish, you don't need a heating pad.  You can get by without a hygrometer and spraying.  You don't need pumps -- you can just fan.

Note, also, that once you have the basic setup, it's very cheap to keep going.  You just need more BR and verm every once in a while, and syringes to make your own spore syringes with.
