FSRCanada is back up, so a "U.S." one seems kind of unnecessary.

People who do not want to send mail out of the country may like the option. People who would like something different than fsrc.ca offers, would like it. Those who would like something more stable, want it. ..And those who would be prideful of a USA spore ring, rather than using a Canadian ring, also would want one.
There is also a free spore ring earth, that was out before fsrc.ca, yet you seem to be using it. So, I think that those who said "why open a Canadian spore ring when we have fsr Earth" would probably have stopped you from using the service that you now like so much.

Some people just don't have the option to pay the prices vendors charge for spores. Others may use spore rings for spores and sponsors for supplies. Some may use a spore ring AND sponsors as well.

This has been brought up before and was even done many years ago, but it always falls apart.

It's possible, you just have to jump through 100 hoops to have it listed here on the shroomery. Other sites, not so much. Not at all actually.
Sad thing is, you see the overwhelming support for it listed right here. It's not the community that is holding them back, that is made obvious by this poll.

I agree... For many of us this is our hobby. There's vendor syringes that sell for something like 8-9$. If you cannot afford spores, how can anyone afford the rest of the materials.
And no offence, but you haven't been around long enough for me to even want to donate prints. How can you expect Shroomery (members) support with no credibility. And I think anyone who does is a fool. Besides they can give them away for free themselves.
If you so badly want to help the community. Do what a lot of us do. Fruit and obtain your own prints and hold giveaways.

No, it's the staff here, and it's not because we have a problem with spore rings.
It's because we asked you to not to use this forum to solicit donations in advance of starting the project and you went batshit over it. Rather than realize that we look out for the interests of our members, you took it as a personal slam, as if we should know everything about you from your three months since registration, which incidentally includes repeated butthurt, trolling of vendors, and at least two puppets you've created in addition to this account.
I smelled something fishy, and now the whole staff and most members do as well.

This pretty well sums up the staff position as well. Nobody is against anyone helping anyone else. We don't however allow the board to be used in the manner this user is attempting. RR

The spore ring is on it's way and should be accepting requests within a week or so. those who were kind enough to donate are responsible for over half of the prints in our print bank.
Those who aren't afraid of their shadow have been a great help in this crucial time for the ring.
Quite funny someone who charges nearly 10$ for something that is easily found via these forums is such a huge advocate against someone helping out members for merely cost of running the project. We've all seen how angry RR gets about torrents of his oh so beloved, DVD's. I'm quite sure that he has made back his initial investment on that project and would love to see him post a download link for these DVDs now that he's so into people getting things for free.
We've teamed up with a select few people on the website and it should be up very soon, along with the videos that have been in the works for a short while, with updated, and very helpful information, for FREE.
Coming to the shroomery, VERY soon.
PS, RR almost everything you posted in your post is FALSE. No puppet was ever made. There was ONE other account that I was told to make by ADMINS. Not two. And it was an account made WITH staff approval. The vendor who was "harassed" was proven to be in the wrong and not only released my personal information on the forum without consent, has strictly NO good posts about her vendor in the recent times. A simple search in the sponsor forum for "mycosupply", showing the latest threads first will show this. While you're there take a read on the thread about their "extremely high shipping costs" and you can see for your self who was harassing who.

It appears we'll have to add add flat-out lying and a clinical persecution complex to your list of faults.
You seriously need to sit back, take a break and go watch some football or something. You're digging your own hole deeper and deeper with both staff and members here with these pedantic rants, and I can't imagine anyone sending you their physical address after reading them. RR

imo, being a non victim that i am, i would like to point something out
imsure your the god of mycology and youve been growing since the 80's and have always been a lurker or something profoundly uncared about, but your trying to start something fairly large with no credit, and your getting uber butthurt about everythign it seems
if you really wanna do this as a good thing for the community, quit trying to make money off of it, a free spore ring doesnt charge money, thats not free than, participatants who want a free whatevere need to send you a self adressed enveleope with prepaiad postage, and you need to start by doing it from a free adress not a po box, unless you just suck it up and pay the few bucks for the box, fuck even at a minimum wage job, the po box you can pay for 6 months with ones days worth of work, you can add somewhere that everyone can dontate if they like
i smell a scam personally

Ive been thinking of doing something like this myself... c0ri really pushed me over the edge and got me started on my project.
My website is already done... http://www.freespores.us
Im going to try to work on some logo's, and I already have a few trust able members that are going to share some prints.
At most, im only going to charge a $1 bill... If you just want to mail me a SASE instead though, ill still mail you a free print.
I wouldnt send this butthurt 4 month old member my address for nothing.

First he steals your avatar and then your idea!?!? What's up with that man?
Haha. I did though tell him I would donate, only because I like the idea of a US free spore ring, but I would totally rather donate to you total. Pm me info and I can get some prints out to you.
