    #17306837 - 11/30/12 01:35 AM (12 years, 1 month ago)

hey guys, last night i had a contaminated jar (it was black, and i scraped off as much as i could) and the mycelium looks as if it has eaten the rest of it, and it has produced pins all over the cake.
would the fruits be safe to eat?  :mushdance:

Also: i opened it and put it on the other side of the house in its own room, so i don't get other caked contamed.

The fruits would be safe to eat, but you shouldn't be mucking around with mould contaminated cakes. You're going to increase the ambient spore load of your home, and black mould can be potentially harmful to breathe in.
