Is this the right kind of jar?

Long story short , i bought 12 of these "kerr" brand half pint (8oz) short widemouthed mason cars, will these kind of jars work better then my previous set of jars, (half pint tall jar) any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Right jars for what? Lol yes those are the correct jars for pf tek you can also use the smaller 1/4 pint wide mouth jars to do pf tek cakes and double stack the cakes or fruit them like they are. They rock lol.

cool, cause i have 5 CC's of some GOlden Teacher left and i plan to PC 5 of these jars sometime tonight, imma make substrate out of a vermiculite mix i have that has worm castings and bee pollen in it and imma mix the verm with brown rice flower. imma add about a 1/2 inch thick layer of dry normal verm at the top.

I use tap water for everything except making agar, but there are people who use tap water for that as well.
It's fine, use it.

just use the verm and brf flour. no need for the others.

when using a pressure cooker how much water should i put in it? should the jars touch the water? im not sure as to how much to put in ( i have a 6 quart pressure cooker)
