I haven't tripped in 8 months. God how i would love for it to be as awesome as my first time... The problem is, I'm scared. Scared that all I'll do is go down that same path again.

Ahh so it was a bad trip that put an end to it. Seems that's how it is for a lot of people. I guess that's why there's not a lot of people who trip frequently for decades. I've never had a bad trip but it sounds horrible. It takes a lot of dedication to go back to a drug that puts you through literal hell for 6 hours.
Blowing loads on a trip sounds awesome I'm sure I would be the same if I had trips like that. Sounds like there's some dopamine action going on with dmt.

I've had some pretty nasty trips on all the psychedelics I've partaken in, actually my bad trips outnumber my good ones. Extreme dysphoria, pure hell, holding on to myself for dear life. Enough to scare me away for a while. But damn there is just something about that experience that makes me keep coming back.

It looks like it would be a few simple steps to get DMT from easy to find precursors. It seems at a quick glance to be a far far simpler task than getting MDMA from sassafras oil, as an example. No?

Most certainly, it's just a substituted indole at its most reactive carbon. Plus, tryptophan is easy to acquire and not too far off from DMT.

DMT is symetrical too, so the chirality of the tryptophan prescusor is irrelevant as well... Very unusual for synthetic chemistry of this type.
It does seem like this molecule is a bit of a nightmare experience, though.. I think I'll just stick to the fungi.

Sometimes it takes a nightmare experience to realize that we are not alone here on this earth

If by nightmare experience you mean the greatest high imaginable. I suggest you try it before jumping to ridiculous conclusions. It's similar to shrooms but with a much higher degree of awesome. Joe abused it and it no longer agrees with him. That means nothing in terms of the drug, only his relationship with it.

Of course but my point is its not a nightmare drug for the average tripper. Some may find it more comfortable than others but most trippers will say its certainly one to be experienced.

Mimosa Hostilis combined with Rue or Caapi has the potential to produce one of the most horrifying and unpleasant experiences a person can endure. I don't think its just the DMT...Something else within the Mimosa (even full spectrum fumarate) when taken orally just has this sinister dark overtone to it compared to chacruna or chaliponga brews. I have seen vets get so spooked from oral dosing Mimosa alks that they had significant trouble adjusting to normal reality for weeks. Aggravated assault on the psyche. Im convinced this is where most people fuck up with oral dosing DMT... Chacruna or Chaliponga are all I will work with for oral dosing now.

That is interesting. Very interesting. I've been Doing reading lately about the resin left over in the pipe after smoking freebase from MHRB extract. A lot of folks were talking about the different spectrum of what's in MHRB as a culprit.
This agrees nicely
