Tyvek question.

When working with grain and using Tyvek, do you have to cover the entire opening of the jar (using it under the jar lid)or can you just tape a piece to the lid big enough to cover the 1/4 hole in the lid? Your thoughts please.

If the tape could keep a good seal it would work fine, but many tapes will not withstand the heat of pressure cooking. It's safer to use a larger piece of Tyvek.

Just cover part of the tyvek with duct tape. No fucking around with lids or bad kinds of tape... it's easy.
