never heard of it. i am sure if you expose the mushrooms in direct contact with lysol it cant be good

If mushrooms come in direct contact with most chemicals it can cause mutations in the shrooms

I think people refer to "mutations" as the fruitbodies themselves distorting, not genetic mutations. Lysol is mostly ethanol with another compound; an ammonia with a long carbon chain and a hydrophilic head which should act as a detergent, not a mutagen. Besides, would household chemicals that are commonly used contain mutagenic compounds?

I'm sure you if started drinking those househeld products you would find they all have some sort of mutagenic effect to the inside of your body, followed by death.
