It depends on the question you're asking.

A fairy ring is a fruiting of mushrooms in a circular arc. There are a lot of mushrooms that do that, and many of them are very poisonous (Chlorophyllum molybdites, for example).

Marasmius oreades is sometimes referred to as the Fairy Ring Mushroom, and it is edible.

yes that is what i was talking about saw pic of it in food mag and found some in yard from mushroom compost from local farm thanks alot

These are shrooms in a partial fairy ring at muang boran (ancient City), Thailand.



The sun was bright and my polarized lens was lost. thus a glare ont he shrooms.

Here is one I picked and turned over and it is not the greatest photo I have taken. Not sure what happend as to why I jerked and blurred it. I had my Nikonm Macro lens on for this shot.
