Canada In Iraq?

Here is a thought:

What if Canada went to Iraq and helped the Americans? It's not a war anymore, it's more of a peacekeeping/rebuilding mission now. I'd go if I was in the military.

I think that Americans will soon go home soon and they'll be replaced by UN peace keeping troops. Others will have to clean the mess they made.

Doesn't matter why, because it just is, and it's beyond our control. In the meantime Canada can help or not.

If Canada could help shorten the time of that occupation, wouldn't that be a good cause?

ummm....no, thats not how politics works, Canada should not be involved in the occupation/americanization of Iraq, US should be removed as soon as possible, and the UN should come in to help build infrastructure and the leave.

Bush will get the forces out since he's loosing points with every guerilla attack. Peacekeeping forces from other countries hopefully wouldn't be viewed as ocupators and would do a better job in normalizing the country. I heard on the news that US & UN are already negotiating about it.
