ID: Interesting mushroom from Norway
    #17265303 - 11/22/12 04:37 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

This is some mushrooms a friend found in Oslo, Norway a while back (September 1:th).

I asked him for better photos but he was already far, far away from the habitat. I forgot about it, but revisited the photos today.

The gills look so Psilocybish purple, but what species could it be if that is the case? The spore print looks almost black, to black for panaeolina, more like Panaeolus cinctulus which would fit the habitat and cap color/shape. Stropharia semiglobata seems out of the question, the wavy upturned caps is not that common. And wrong print color for Agrocybe...

I find it very interesting and want your opinion about it.

If there was no bruising Stropharia seems like the best match, which i do not know.

Not a Psilocybe, and not Stropharia either imo.

I'm thinking Psathyrella, judging from both the gills and the print.

I want to say Leratiomyces, but I can't find any matches. It's not dissimilar from L. squamosus, but the habitat's off and it lacks the anullus...
