Have you ever got this specific strain to fruit before?
Could be that you got ahold of a poor fruiting strain.
Where did you get the strain?

just by that i would say you have severe overlay if you keep patching and patching and still grows over you should only patch to bring mycelium to the surface evenly

Most all teks work as long as all conditions are met.
Best thing I know to tell you is wait till someone more experienced
gets here.
Sorry I couldn't help more.

i agree.... only reason hes patching over and over is cause he wants an even pin set. he is very experianced in getting casings to fruit... but he now has around 6 casings in the fruiting terr right now cased with straight verm waiting for pinning to occur...as ive said its been like 3 weeks with no signs of anything but more mycl growth...he dropped the temps and cold shocked it to try and innitiate pinning, but to no avail. nothing is happening, but it smells very shroomy in there...

stop patching it may be to late but dont patch anymore you may have does it seem overlayed to you in your experience just patch high areas once not over and over

Well if your SURE all conditions are correct, then try flipping it and recase.
You said its been 3 weeks since you cased it, somethin is definatly wrong.
Maybe even contact the place you got the spores from, tell them somthings wrong with the "condition" of the spores(somethin NOT related to cult.), and maybe they'll send you a replacement.
Thats 'bout all the ideas I got.
Good Luck!

If you are not seeing hyphal knots, then flip the casing over. Don't recase it, just treat it like a giant cake. Make sure to adjust your humidity accordingly. Make sure your temps are good, Mycelium should ge tthe cue to stop growing when it is recieving light... other than that there is nothing you can really do. Just try the flip trick. you could always keep waiting, sometimes it takes 4 weeks but not usually. How many times are you fanning for 6 casings? That's ALOT of mycelium in an enclosed area....
