Somtimes you'll get thin stems because of the amount of O2 in the grow area. The mushrooms seem to "stretch" to find cleaner air...

However...I don't know if thats a fact? It's happened to me a few times and a few folks told me that. Bump up the number of times you fan out or give a good gas excahnge.

It could be that your strain is starting to deform too:-( ???

The fact is that you dont have enough water for your babies to drink. For proof of this and how to correct it goto: www.fanaticus.com it will show you 2 different jars, one was sprayed 2 times a day, the other every other day. The one with 2 times a day was much bigger, while the other one, you can guess, was skinnier. There is nothing wrong with a skinny mushie, its just as potent, so dont worry about it, but make sure you get enough water in that casing from the start and have a good humidity.
