Easy mushroom dehydrator

After you fan dry your mushrooms, just place them in this.

A big jar with a dessicant at the bottom and some polyfill in between, very easy to make and can hold a decent amount of mushrooms.

Yea they should.. Its just there to prevent contact between the dessicant and what your drying :wink:

very awesome!!! Looks like a perfect idea....you can make several of these for different strains so you don't go...oh shit which shrooms are which (depending on how similar they look)

You forgot the chamber to collect the water. Using your idea the moisture has no where to settle except right in the dessicant so basically your not drying them. Put an absorbant mnaterial on the bottom like cotton (Polyfill is non absorbant) then add dessicant and polyfill.

I don't think you need the absorbant material unless you are drying a lot of them.

if they r real fresh you might get some water build up in the bottom that can be a real pain to empty, however if u fan dry first , then that is PERFECT for crispifying your little buddies
