Where are you located? Those are not P. cyanescens. It is impossible to tell what they are without detailed pictures.
Cortinarius is just a guess.

I see similar specimes around A musc's, but they're not active. Edible? I honestly wouldn't know. I've never found cyans under conifers with no obvious signs of deciduous wood. I assume it's possible, but not very likely.

Thats just one Amenita, I could take pics with clusters of 50 or more around here if you guys want, from my own research Amenitas just give you cold sweats, shaking, and stomach pain.. If you make it threw that without killin your grillsperiance you might hallucinate, but to me its not worth it, that is why I avoid them, I see them everywhere here. Vikings used to eat them!

I also avoid them because there are MUCH MUCH better shroomies around here right now.

I concur. Cortinarius sp. (and thus potentially toxic) would be my closest guess.

Could be many things, Cortinarius or Pholiota would be my guesses without more information.

Definitely not cyans, I inspected the gills and there are NO gills, sponge like under-neath, probably poisonous same color stem as cap not white stems. I was simply going by the wavy cyan like caps.
