Fruiting and outdoor questions
    #1724235 - 07/17/03 09:43 AM (14 years, 11 months ago)

1. my friend wants to fruit his PF cakes, there is a problem, the temp in the house is in the 80's. the option would be to put the terrarium in the basement however, it is a moldy, mildewy kinda basement. the temp there is a steady 74.

2. i am paranoid with infected cakes and when i think one is questionable i have been burying it in my outdoor patch. is this ok or a waste?

Yea clean up that stank @ss basement and make sure that when you do put contaminated cakes in your outdoor bed that you remove as much of the contam as possible to give it a better chance. Also I would use some poo/straw mixture in that outdoor bed. It works great for my kids.

it is an old house and dirt floor basement. i dont think it can be cleaned.

also, the cakes i put out i am unsure. i think it was bruising and my outdoor patch has poo and straw
