    #17237143 - 11/17/12 07:05 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Near woods, in grass/woodchips. By Puget Sound in Washington.

Gills: No spore print yet, waiting on it.

Stem: Visible in picture

Cap: Visible in picture

Found a bunch of these, azures?

Those pics are horrible. The caps are not good enough to make a pos id. Did they bruise blue. That will be a yes or no answer. If you cant tell if they are bruising, then you do not have azures. If they are purple as shit, then you have azures. But your pics suck. Are they bruised blue? Like the color of the background screen, even darker

the gradient of the colours on the cap to the margin dont look right for a psilocybe, the stipe is waaaay to fibrillose to be an azure, better pics and a TI opinion.

they look fairly similar.
but, it is necessary to take photos of the gills, stipe, bruising, etc...
to accurately identify a mushroom.
next time be sure to try an capture all of said, qualities...

azures bruise a deep blue almost instantly...

did they bruise blue?
spore print would really help here
stipe is a little off from what would think for a psilocybe sp. but caps look right in the pic, but quality of pic makes it hard to tell for sure

get back to us when you got the print and we can go from there
