Smoke-Grilled (cherry wood) Chicken quarters, marinaded in a sauce of blackberry puree with chilli garlic paste, tamari, rice vinegar, molasses, and a drop of maple syrup...  same sauce was later brushed on the quarters in the last 5 min of grill time.

the chicken was plated on a bed of rice-stick (pancit type) noodles, along with caramelized onion and shiitakes, plus sauted carrots and celery, and some fresh pineapple chunks marinaded in a spicy teriyaki-like sauce I made from scratch.

NO, there is NOT a picture.  WHY?  BECAUSE I ATE IT ALREADY!!  I mean, sheesh.  You know my poor mother spent her whole life trying to stop me from playing with my food and now you guys want me to take photographs of it like it's a nearly naked "swimsuit model"??  C'mon, do you cook it to look at it?  No of course!  You cook it to eat it.  Yep.  Pics are for 'zines n 'blogs

You can snap a shot of it and put it up here.  It'll make the thread alot more interesting than people just listing off what they've eaten.

Veggie lasagna with whole wheat noodles, béchamel, marinara, rainbow chard, yellow squash, zucchini, heirloom carrots, and parm.  I like to use both white and red sauce on my lasagna.

P.S.  I typically browse with my iPad and don't think I can post pics from a mobile device!

Tapas; seasoned beans, grilled onion and chilli with sweet pepper strips and pulled pork.  Splash of tobasco sauce and it's good to go!

how do you like the pic?  It ain't purdy, I was mid-munch and snapped the photo with a camera that has no flash

bacon wrapped cream cheese and jalapeño stuffed chicken breasts, au gratin potatoes (made with heavy cream), and steamed broccoli. it was deliciously indulgent.

I heart beefheart was really really good, nice score!

we had some pulled chicken with beans and tortillas plus pico salsa and grilled onions/peppers.

then some chocolate cupcakes with raspberry buttercream frosting

i hate to break it to you, but if it was "naturally flavored" raspberry, it has beaver anal gland juice in it (castoreum; it's actually from their castor sacs, which they mix with urine to mark territory with). same thing for vanilla and strawberry.

because apparently it tastes like raspberries. HOW they figured that one out, i'd rather not know. they also use it in perfumes and colognes, so... eh.

it's where they found the original chemical esters used for artificial berry flavors...  probably synthed in a lab now rather than extracted from a team of beavers- though that may be interesting to see

BRAISED COUNTRY-STYLE PORK RIBS MOTHER FUCKERS!

first things first, add oil to pan and brown the ribs, one by one, and set aside in a dish.  Then add a little more oil and saute your mire poix till softened, add garlic and saute til fragrant...

next add your ripe or canned tomato dice and continue to saute another 3 min. Then add 50/50 vinegar and wine totaling about 1/4cup and deglaze pan until juices are brown.

add the browned ribs back to the pan.  Add enough stock or water to come halfway up the sides of the ribs.  Then pat the ribs with remaining spice rub and bring the whole mess to a vigorous simmer....

once the pot is simmering nicely, cover and place in preheated oven at 275 for 2-3hrs....
