I just made a seafood newburg. trying not to eat it all now cause I would like to serve it in a bread bowl tomorrow for the super bowl

I might have went a little over board but I make this once a year

I sauted
1 1/4 lbs of mahi mahi
1 lbs of lumb crab meat
10 large sea scallops
2 Salmon fillets

added

Sherry wine
cayenne pepper & peprika

and made a roux with

milk flour butter and cream

mixed it all together and its cooling now

Very heavy but its a delight

The dog gets a treat as well. I beer battered the fish skin and served it up to him<<<<<Spoiled
Ill throw up some pics in a bit

I had an ultrasonic fogger connected to a sgfc. So whenever I opened the lid a huge cloud of fog poured out. Slowly cakes with fruits flourishing come into view.

I hope the birth of my 1st kid is as epic as that moment.

You guys need to take pictures of the meals you're eating.  I'm curious!

Here's what I had for dinner a couple Fridays ago.

Bao Haus.  A restaurant in NYC that specializes in bao style sandwiches.  Clockwise from 10 O'clock:  Fried chicken bao, braised beef cheek bao, red-braised pork belly bao.  They're all topped with roasted peanuts and have various sauces tucked underneath the meat.

Tonight's meal was an interesting mix of quinoa, peas, corn, braggs, and salsa. I then supplemented that with two taco bell burritos. XD.

Whole wheat pasta with vodka marinara, oven roasted butternut squash, and sautéed kale (hidden in the sauce so my husband doesn't see it).  Grilled, marinated chicken breast for him and grilled veggie chik for me.

Sweet cornbread with homemade apple butter for dessert! (I know, not very Italian-ish, but super tasty!)

Oh it's a Dutch term apparently, they call them princess beans here. The regular bean: Phaseolus vulgaris.

I'm still going to campaigne that you guys take pictures of what you're eating for dinner.  It'd take this thread to a whole 'nother level.
