Both renditions look tasty, healthy as well unless you are a real glutton with the potatoes via cream and butter.

It's cold and raining so i made up a batch of chili with some creamy cornbread.

Just put milk and alittle butter in the whole batch of potatoes it was very delicious

Nice,  some people go way too heavy with their potatoes,  like oozing butter is not something i like.  Potatoes taste super great most ways in general.

Going to make something fun this week.  Tomorrow is my friday so we will see if something gets me inspired.

I made too much mash recently, a mix of new potatoes and sweet potato. Not wanting to throw any away I let it cool and put in the fridge. Next day I had a look and found it to be all hard and dry, as you would expect, so, added some vinegar out of a pickled onion jar to moisten it enough to spread. It went realy  well in a ham, cheese, and mustard pickle sarnie.

I'm a gourmet me.
