Get in my belly! I made sweet and spicey chicken breast with white rice. Shrimp croquettes the night before. Good stuff, no pics of the chicken and the croquettes are on my phone.

Hey, all your dishes look really great. Just wondering the recipe for the rice pilaf, what did you add to make it a pilaf? Also, is that white rice?

i think the pilaf part just comes from the seasoning and addition of stock to the rice rather then just the usual boil of water, that gives it the slightly different color. you can do any combo of veggies and seasoning for it.

yea it is long grain rice.

kind of like how a risotto comes from the addition of small amounts of a seasoning liquid slowly stirred in, same feeling just less maintenance with the stirring in part.

Venison, green beans, and (almost) the last of my black trumpets from last fall. The venison just seasoned and grilled. Blackened green beans and a marsala black trumpet sauce. Maybe I should do a mashed potato or rice too.
