TACOS!!!

Not this time..  Today I realized that I live not far from a place that's been on Man Vs Food.  Today I had the HOBO from Rack Shack.

It's basically a baked potato and slice of corn bread toped with mac and cheese, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw and smoked brisket with hot sauce.  I think that some other things are in their too????

I seriously need a doctor.

Example, for lunch the other day I visited Eden Burgers for the first time, a relatively new joint in Glendale, California.  Their truffle fries and dipping sauce were outstanding, as was their beer selection, from which I enjoyed a St Bernardus Abt 12 of the Belgian persuasion; but the star was this juicy special burger of the day - the "Bomie" - which consisted of 50% bacon and 50% 31 day dry aged ground beef, cooked a very solid pink medium on the inside while still retaining some nice caramelized crunch on the outside, with all sorts of nice accoutrement.

Fucking tongue-gasm to the extreme, I tell you what. :drooling:

brussels sprouts grilled in coconut oil with shallots, garlic, pecans, golden raisins, and pastrami; deglazed the pan with apple cider vinegar to get all the delicious stuck on bits up to mix in with the rest of it.  i am happy.

That looks fucking amazing. I've never made  Brussel sprouts but lately I've been wanting to give it a try.

I'm currently making a lentil and tomato soup (it's a stew at this point) and serving it over rice. It's got fresh crushed and diced tomatoes, lentils, onions, plenty garlic, and seasoned with fresh ginger, cumin, tiny bit of nutmeg, salt pepper, paprika, little chilli power, tiny bit of cayenne, and sugar! Pretty yum.

I managed to make this chicken salad last night while tripping  it was prepackaged lunch chicken chunks (buffalo) that I cooked in some Sriracha and other seasoning. It's over a baby green mix with boiled egg and parmesan on top.
And that's spicy ranch. It was pretty damn good.

I went grocery shopping today so I'm stoked to post more food soon

Oh and tonight I had a pork loin sandwich and sweet potato fries from work. May or may not make banana bread tonight

I'm having cold pork loin slices with cold smashed potatoes and mix of canned corn and creamed canned corn and I'm seasoning covering everything with  cajun seasoning that's been mixed with vinegar. Oh and your salad looks damn good.
