Pork sausage spaghetti with jumbo olives and "parmesan" cheese, homemade lobster bisque served cold, homemade sweet coleslaw of sorts (mandarin orange, pineapple, artichoke hearts, cabbage, carrots, celery, a little miracle whip and vodka), with broiled butter and garlic sourdough bread.

Pulled pork enchiladas with black beans and rice and a few avocado wedges.

Not much for presentation at all, but it is a great combination, and it hit the spot.:homerdrool:

Spring greens salad with Lighthouse Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing, red beans cooked down in the stock from my pork roast from the other day and spiced with a little cayenne and paprika, fire roasted Yukon Gold potato with roasted garlic on top that I thoroughly mashed into the potato, and of course a lightly salt & peppered and burnt, but not well done, New York Strip steak that smelled like a burger for the singe yet was still tender and not chewy at all.

That broccoli beef looks good.

Thank you.
Yeah.  It is unfortunate about the whole Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster and its effect on sea life in the Pacific Ocean.  It is fucked up and I don't think Japan is handling it as well as they probably could have and definitely should have. :crankey:

An eleven egg linguiça omellete with green onion, jalapenos, and pepperjack cheese on top.  Made in the oven in my trusty Lodge cast iron pan.

Re: Whats for Dinner? [Re: Acidic_Sloth]

I preheated the oven to 400°F with the well oiled pan in it.  I cooked the grease out of the linguiça in another pan then I put the linguiça into the larger preheated pan, poured the eggs over that, put the toppings on, then put it back in the oven to finish off.  The toppings could have been done a little more but the egg was nice.  Maybe I will put a quick broil on it next time.  I have a lot of eggs.

It needed more linguiça.  Everything always needs more linguiça. :homerdrool:
