it's a small drizzle of lemon olive oil, and alot of butter on the plate. i let it rest. :wink: still over cooked it slightly, too high heat. :sad:




Ah I see. Good call man well done. Bummer about the heat. Steaks can be tricky especially since their expensive most of us don't get much practice very often ha.

Lol when is dinner NOT in a rush. Those cast irons are great for steaks. Have you tried searing  the steak on both sides then putting the whole cast iron in the oven? works like a charm!:africaface:
