Is it okay to do this? Also I have seen pictures where the spawned casings are in perlite chambers and also where they are in the bottom of just one big rubbermaid, when do you know which to do? Onlywith smaller casings?

perlite on the bottom will increase humidity so that it's not sucked out of your casing... use it.
