Sohoho, this Star Wars MMO has gone free to play. I'm downloading it for the next time I get the urge to play an MMO. I'm sure I'll flake quickly, but it beats shelling out $60 to rediscover that I quit playing this type of game for a reason Anyone playing?

Haven't played it yet. I loved the old RPG games with a passion.

Oh me too man, but I wouldn't put much faith in this game living up to the experience of Knights of The Old Republic... Nonetheless, a quasi free Bioware game seems at least worth investigating a little.

Best PC Game I have ever played. But I am a Star Wars fan.
I love the storyline, love the variety of quests, everything.
I have a couple characters on the server called "The Harbinger" for anyone who wants to run some levels some time
I have characters at just about every phase; a lvl 47 Trooper that I am working towards finishing, lvl 20's Sith Warrior, lvl 9 Jedi and lvl 4-5 Bounty Hunter.
My only beef with the game is the space combat and that's probably only because I suck at it
I still pay for my subscription because it gives you some extra perks, like unlimited warzones, which are tons of fun (PvP)

can't really comment on the game yet, played for about 5mins late last night and got distracted.. i usually reserve comments on an mmo until i've gotten to try a dungeon and pvp, for the most part questing in them is all pretty sameish.
FWIW i'm playing the west coast pvp server, forget what it's called but there's only one of em.

I am getting ready to log-on now to my newest character on "The Harbinger" and log an hour or two of play time
I am down to make another new character if someone wants to run a couple hours from the beginning. Just have to make sure the characters start at the same place because a lot of them start different places
