Adrena, we can use that thank you. Very interesting.
Elkart, wtf! That is the most massive sporesplosion I've ever seen. Looks like your dumped a bucket of tar in there. Very nice picture thank you. I'll add that into the mature fruits section labeled as WAY TO MATURE.

Wow...that's an ugly mess. Still, a quick pick, rinse, and good time spent in a dehydrator, and they're as good as new.

Some more disturbing shots from Twistedty, over misted monotub first pic, and insufficient light. Second pic is a ton of aborted and possibly bacterial contaminated bottom pins.

A few more of my own shots to possibly add
Cubensis pins section - "kangaroo approves"

Another shot for hyphal knots in a monotub

A 110g+ monster, thinking about adding this to "when to harvest" (The Pumpkin)

Typical non-rhizomorphic mycelial growth patterns of multi spore inoculation

Hey, this is a cool thread! I want to contribute!
Here's trich on rye before sporulating

Here's fruits showing the classic signs of verticillium bacterial contam (deformed, brown speckles on stipe)

Cube myc on brf, condensation forming on glass

Cube myc on brf just after germination

Cube myc on rye just after germinating

I think we can use just about every one of those. That shot of verticillium is rare IME, I am very appreciative of that one.
However in pic1, I see no Trichoderma, there appears to be some weak mycelium (appears to be mushroom mycelium) and then there appears to be some immature Aspergillus contamination.
Great shots! We really needed some of these, such as the "just germinated" on BRF. We had nothing of the sort.

Oh, I forgot to add that the mold in the first picture turned a mean shade of green a few days after that shot was taken. I don't know if that definitively means it was trich but it was definitely a contam of some sort.
Thanks, good job on the thread!

Definitely Aspergillus then, Asper has a very weak, barely visible mycelium (like in your pic) then turns an intense green. Trichoderma has a very vivid thick white mycelium which after 24-48 hours turns green. It looks like a solid mass of white. There will not be any visible mycelial strands.
There are pics of both of these in detail in the "What It Shouldn't Look Like" section so you can study them closer.

Any chance of getting a few pics of what invitro pins look like just as they're starting to pin in a jar, or on a cake etc? Basicly how they form from the pure white myc, before it becomes a pin with a head. You know what I mean? How the white changes into a pin. You know what I'm talking about.

That would be just about every shot in the Hyphal knots and primordia section.
They start as a small white knot (usually a spherical knot) then while still white a cap begins to develop, once you can start to see the shape of a mushroom take form this is called primordia, then as it grows the cap changes color to brown and this is a pin.
This shot has knots, and 1 primordia
 Knots, primorida, and pins here

Here's a shot of a Leucocoprinus Birmbaumi I found in the wild, it clearly shows Mycelium, hyphal knots, primorida, pins, and fruits. Which is why I love this shot:

Sweet, so they kind of "stem up" and then the tip gains pigment and becomes the cap?
I've never seen this, I've only seen pictures of pins or myc before the pins. So it basicly developes a type of stem that caps as it goes?
I always wondered how that worked out. I guess this would be the "knots" I hear referenced to. Awesome, Ive seen this on old half rotten logs but come to find out they were pholiota and not gyms which sucks but that's good to know. Thanks dude
