Mattsls. Your humidity is fine.
Your gauge is not accurate.

Can you tell me which kind of hygrometer your using?

You're not aggrivating me at all.
Those hygrometers do not read accurately once the humidity hits 85%.
If your sgfc has damp per lite in it its basically going to be above 90% automatically.
Throw that thing away or put it back outside its useless for Mycology.

If you want a real hygrometer go to eBay and look for an analog hygrometer.

Your mushrooms will tell you when the humidity is to low. The caps will develop cracks and sometimes make small wrinkles. Over misting can also cause caps the break.

The reason closets suck is because they lack moving air.
Put a small fan inside the closet with your fruiting chamber, and it will do fine. Along with 6500k florescent lighting.
For heat, your only real option is small cheap space heater, you need your temps to be consistently 70+

Unless you have a SGFC, then a fan will lower your humidity.

The mushrooms growing out of the bra are contaminated with Gay Rabbit sp.
Definitely "what it shouldn't look like".

I'm now afraid of easter.

I was looking through the contam forum and someone mentioned about molds/bact taking hold in the middle of cakes, I guess it could happen to bulk subs too.  So how do you know or tell if the center of a jar is contamned but the outer layers all colonized with legit myc?

Your cake will quickly push out a bunch of pathetic pins that nature too quickly. Its a kind of last resort to get some spores out before its killed by the contam.
But the best way is to smell the cake. Bacteria stinks bad even if its in the center the gasses emited will be noticeable.

Are you talking about the sweet apple or bananna smell or a rotten, harsh bad garbage bag you forgot to take out bad?  Bad enough to smell through jar holes or would you have to birth it and really get your nose up to the cake?

Also how common is this?  I've never heard it mentioned before.
