So I have been on Zoloft for about 7 months, my doc told me I need it for panic attacks, but I think my real problem is OCD and ADD, since I was young I used to have alot of trouble paying attention and everytime I clean the house I have to clean it 3 times, ugh everything has to be 3 times, and at work is worse, anyway for the very first months it worked great Zoloft but then by then 5th month I started to feel like I did when I didnt take no meds, my anger problems are bad and I dont know what to do, I told my doc about it and He sent me to a psychitrist, but I havent gone yet, I feel like noone will be able to help me, I wanted to try weed but I cant handle weed very good I get sick, so thats no option and I dont know anybody that can give me any other type of drug. My husband thinks I need hormones but I dont know, I just need advice or help to what to do.

If your psychiatrist won't listen to you and forces the wrong meds on you just get a new one. I went through a period where I thought I needed meds and it took a few times to get somebody who would actually listen to my feedback on when the drugs were working or not. Eventually I went off all meds and feel way better now anyway, but a lot of psychiatrists are fucking lazy and just give every patient antidepressants whether they need them or not. You could see a general practitioner as well and ask if it could possibly be hormonal. I say fire this joker and find a doctor who will listen to you and try to find a workable solution to your problems. Unfortunately, patients need to advocate for themselves to get the best treatment in our medical system.

PERIOD.
They are serving YOU. You are paying THEM. If what they're doing for you stops working, you go somewhere else. You'd do the same for a plumber.
