For large fruits try casing a bulk substrate such as straw or dung. Some strains also produce larger fruits.

I have had some great fruits from BRF, but alas if you want monsters then you need to consider the fact that you need to move up to bigger and better things...like poo and straw. A simple search will turn up some great teks! Untill then keep reaching for the stars!!!!

Just keep in mind, once you start bulk; you are starting a whole other level to mycology. One of water %, delecate routines to get precuroser materials to their proper range of use, and a whole LARGER world of contam possibilites.
Only w/ experience will the pay off yeilds come.

You need to get some pint or quart jars and make either Rye, Popcorn (my favorite) or WBS spawn. Then you need to learn how to spawn it into poo/straw (or if you don't want to spawn, you can just directly case the grain). For optimum fruit size, a substrate layer of upto 4" will help. You need to step up to fanning 6 times a day or automating air exchange. Make the casing layer a little thicker and keep everything at optimum levels. Pretty much, use grains they will help.

That small one on the left is about as big as mine ever got on cakes. That is a monster. How did you keep it from falling over. Or did it?

Yea it kept falling over. I think I just propped it up against other cakes. I had to take the lid off of my chamber and tape a bag over it because it grew too big.
