SGFC over heat source?

I have a pretty good location for my SGFC, but it will be above a heat source (not that hot). Is this a desirable location?

I don't know what type of heat source you are talking about, but I will assume a vent? Regardless, hot air will lower the humidity in your sgfc.
Is there really no other place to put it? Don't forget to elevate it a few inches off the ground.

Thanks for the reply. I will put it somewhere "normal" such as on a dresser.

The terrarium was moved over the heat source. No other choice. Don't ask.
What sort of problems will this present? More misting/fanning required now? The walls of the terrarium dry up MUCH faster than before.

Well, I have two choices. I'm not sure which one is better.
Option A: Put SGFC over heat source. Temperatures in the fc are around 25 degrees C. China hygrometer reads 80. Walls dry up fast, possibly the perlite as well. There is also a fan running underneath.
Option B: Put SGFC on a cold desk. Temperatures are usually 17-21 degrees C.
Which to choose?

Alright bro. Although when I fan, I'm wafting cold air in there, kinda feel bad to the little fellas. Option B it is though. Thanks.

I've grown cubes in the 50s and they didn't take noticeably longer than when I grow them in the 70s.
