18 inches of mescaline tea
    #17190843 - 11/09/12 01:50 PM (11 years, 4 months ago)

Drank what was about 18 inches worth of brigesii cactus over the course of 2.5 hours, got done with it a half hour ago. Hopefully I didn't fuck the tea up too badly. My mind feels slipping. Been gradually getting more intense over the hours.

All I can think of to say is..what's up?

On the ground you lay, with your dogs you pray, at a neon hieroglyph sky you gaze

Hugging your mind, praying to survive, feeling the love of the hieroglyphs in the sky
We all need more love, and mainly less hate
Hate is the blind that covers the heart's eye
That makes the heart's eye cry
Locked deep away in the skies of our minds

It's all in the mind

This is definitely much stranger than when I ate 8 inches of the cactus, and much faster coming on. The visuals aren't too intense though..maybe not yet.

As this builds in intensity, it almost does feel like LSD did in a way. LSD almost felt like, somewhere between this, and DMT. IMHO. What do y'all think about that stance?

My mind is sorta gliding around btw. Cool beans. Gonna go for a walk and look at the girls..eh scenery.

I may have fucked up the tea from having it be so old, though really, this feels colorful somehow. Time feels slow.

my heart rate is 85 bpm.

I went through another wave there.. it's definitely more intense now than it was 10 minutes ago.

every time I go through a wave..it gets more intense and colorful..it's all neon blue red gold now. in the mind.
on LSD my heart rate was about 110-120 bpm I think.

The waves are so intense with mescaline, even more so than acid.  I can't wait to try it again!

It's so gentle, you don't even know you're tripping if you focus on something. WHen you let your mind wander, it can get stranger than either DMT or LSD.

But it wasn't even remotely similar feeling to when I just ate the cactus raw. Maybe the fact that I had to freeze and re-boil the tea several times in an attempt to preserve it, destroyed certain molecules that was originally in it. It feels roughly as intense but more pure. But I also didn't measure how much I drank; it definitely wasn't even half of the 40 inches worth of bridge that I had. I don't think I actually ingested 18 inches worth. meh

How long did you make the tea for? When I did 12 inches in tea form it was very intense. I did 3 3 hour pulls.
