I even posted a poem once to describe my meditative experiences, but everyone replyed saying it described the feelings while on Mescaline. Never had Mescaline and never intend to do any drugs ever again. The poem described as far as words can, how I felt sometimes while meditating. I called it A TASTE OF THE DEVINE. Here it is...
A TASTE OF THE DEVINE when the mind quiets down, and the internal chatter fades away, and all of a sudden u find yourself immersed in a strange and wonderous land, and the most beautiful thing u have ever seen is right in front of you... and all around u... and u feel your own presence... and slowly...u let go... and even your presence fades away... and all that is left is a wonderous awe... an ethereal silence...life unfolding, the moment revealed. The eyes, wide open, afraid to blink, gaping, stunned by an overwhelming awareness... conciousness struck in amazement by it's own awareness, moved by the richness of perception, touched forever, having tasted the divine...

Some of my most beautiful moments have been completely sober, at certain locations, at certain times.
It's strange, everything seems to line up somehow (my feelings at that time and my environment) and it is just like this very familiar, nostalgic, and downright beautiful experience.
It happens at airports alot. Also mostly at night-time or as the sun is going down.
It does not last very long, though. It's sort of like just the universe winking at me

Actually I'm starting to find it quite mystical that I can wake up every morning and remember who I am and what needs to be done today.
-------------------- Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

Actually to tell you the truth, the past 11 days have been one long sober mystical experience. It feels like a humble reunion with my mind and spirit after a long hectic and hazy period of confusion.
I'm riding out the wave of a good decision. After it recedes I'll be searching for another one.

I have had what I consider a mystical experience.
I'm sat in a friends car rolling a joint in the middle of nowhere. Ihadn't smoked any marijuana yet either not would it have these effects.
I felt an extreme rush of euphoria come down my body accompanied by a strange sense of change in environment.
At the same time I had what was like a memory implanted in my mind but it was of the future. I saw the next 30 seconds in which my friend explained he had puked on his car dashboard, then a land rover came hacking by. Unlike Deja Vu (which I have also experienced frequently) I specifically remember thinking "shit, if Fred says he puked on the dashboard and then a land rover comes by I've just seen the future" and then before my eyes my friend started to explain his story. By the time he'd finished a land rover suddenly came hacking by. The chances of my friend saying this and a car coming in the middle of nowhere are unlikely and the fact that I had the strange euphoria leads me to believe I really did see the future.
