I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this. In the information section under preservation; Dry Ice Mushroom Drying. The process calls for evaporating the dry ice. That's wrong. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide which is already a gas and can not be evaporated. It does sublimate, that is change from a solid to a gas. The word evaporate needs to be replaced with sublimate.

Frozen carbon dioxide is a solid. Not a gas.
Gaseous carbon dioxide is a gas.

Technically you are right about the sublimation thing though.

Ain't it weird how things work out?

A frozen gas is a solid, a liquid is a melted solid....and beer tastes good! Keep in mind though that although a beer is liquid it is not a melted solid or a condensed gas, but mearly a really good beverage.

Sometimes I wonder what really matters. I really wonder, because I am still trying to figure it out.
