Seriously!!?? Haha,I can't believe it!!

I found it growing up the side of my container at my work depot. There was another smaller one growing near it which I left in situ growing on a piece of chipped wood.

Is there anything I can do now to help things along a bit???

Thanks for the reply

Vito

So I have some cyan mycelium growing on cardboard. Would it be possible to use some of this mycelium to make a mycelium syringe, then use that to inoculate some grains? Or would it not be sterile enough?

You'd probably grow a load of cobweb given the number of mould spores that would have landed on your card and myc.

I think this would be a job for peroxide agar.

Cheers

or just expand the cardboard myc out into wood chips?
that's what I did with the Cyanofriscosas
had some chips that'd been soaking for a couple of weeks, drained them. filled a pot with holes around the sides, layer of wood chips, layer of myc covered cardboard, layer or woodchips etc.

I went from grains to cardboard, so not sure why you wanna go the other way, whack them in with wood I say

Ps. cyanescens:

The Guardian said:

Heh heh heh, Dr Shaw might be onto something you know :hehehe:

Ps. subaeruginosa

Indian Psilocybe wayanadensis(?) KKL07:

Psilocybe cyanofriscosa:

Psilocybe azurescens (?):

-worked away for nearly a week and returned to find a large container lid had blown onto these pups, probably flattening them and sending them into decline, kidney infection put me on my arse after that too so couldn't even get out to garden

Anyway, mother patches established, time to bring on a rain of mycelial terror!

Woodlover hunting should become alot more fruitful in my locality in the coming years :stirthepot::awesomenod: -all those spots I searched to no avail a couple of years back are now being showered with an uber potent washwater, honey (to allow germination)spore/mycelium solution

-Great to see new soldiers to the cause... 'Many hands make light work', 'Strength in Unity'... if many more can do the same in their neighbourhoods in the coming years there is no doubt this will soon become EPIC!

Hi,this is the spot where I found the cyans. The bottom left area of the image is pretty much where they were. This area is used for sawing and splitting logs and last year there were logs stacked up against that blue container and I think the cyans were growing in the bits of bark and wood that had gathered.

At the back is where we've dumped garden waste, mostly grass and hedge cuttings.

Cheers

Vito

This is my UK cyans find and I'm certainly in the northern UK I would say they are frequent in this area in fact this year I have Had more of these than liberty caps(wtf is going on with them this year I found a number of patches but come last two weeks of October  just stopped producing now no libs anywhere to be found nr me ,I've  found libs at the end of November before) I've also heard that cyans are very heavy experience wise is this true? I've yet to try them.

hey guys, found some of these today while on a hunt, matched them up to cyan's in the 'psyilocybin mushrooms of the world guide' i had on me, and they seem to fit the description of cyan's during the early stages. can anyone confirm? ps sorry about the image quality, something went wrong when transferring them

Not cyans unfortunately. Stem isn't white and no wavy cap edge in mature specimens.
