When the shrooms are growing will regular flashlights work as the light source needed so the shooms grow twards the light? il probably have 2 flashlights in there hanging becuase i cannot run powercord into the place im growing so all i was wondering is if regular flashlights work as there light source?

You can buy mini battery powered flourescent lights actually at wallmart, those would work better. The flashlight would work, but your shrooms will grow all crooked because they won't know which way is up. Not like that matters that much though.

i would imagine the flashlights batteries would run out pretty fast too...

Get a rechargable flashlight. It shouldn't cost more than $20.

but then you have to buy a recharger? atleast the ones i looked at. can you send me to a link of a self rechargable light ? and hte ones that come with chargers with them are all over $100..

Go with the battery powered fluoros... they don't need to be on all the time, 15 minutes a day is fine.

Buy one of those flashlights that has a plug-in on it, you can plug it into the wall to recharge it and I think it doesn't even use batteries.
