Mushrooms Demystified! by Dave Arora is one of the best

You might also wanna check out the Audobon Guide to North American Mushrooms, and also Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World by Paul Stamets.

Arora's book is good. Good enough that I can actually just read the thing and not use it strictly for ID. It's the only one I have right now. It is pretty damn limited tho. You'll be yearning for more quite soon afterwards. Still, a must have. Checkout overstock.com for great deals on books.
