God, not netscape. Mozilla, OTOH, doesn't suck. Opera ain't bad either.

I used to be a hard-core Opera user, but for some reason it just started spontaneously malfunctioning and there wasn't anything I could do to fix it. That's when I switched over to Mozilla.

I love mouse gestures. %)

Opera is awesome! They give it to you for beta-testing. I've been using it since '96. It has come a long way. I like the integrated search bars and definitely the parent/child windowing.

Opera is my favourite too
I did like Mozilla but it would spontaneously crash once every few hours which got pretty annoying. Opera is better in other ways too.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I also use Opera very often and i like it, good to see people using alternatives to ie.
Regarding mozilla fonts, i know what you mean, i think there is a new encoded mozilla build supporting AA fonts, i've only seen it for linux but i've never tried that version.

I've never used Opera before, but I'm DLing it right now. They have two versions, the one you can buy and the free DL. I took the free one. What's the difference between the two?

The one you buy works.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

I use Opera but I'm not really happy with it. It really clogs up my memory. It's not uncommon that Opera uses 150MB of my memory and slows everything down. This happens when I have the browser open a long time and when I use multiple windows.
Anything I can do about this, or is there a browser that isn't so memory hungry?

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firebird/

Incredibly stable, not a huge resource hog.. (sure, uses up 100megs after I leave it running for four days but 20 at start), tabbed browsing, supports all Netscape plugins, not as big and huge and gay as the whole Mozilla suite. Very good.
