Habitat: Found growing in a grassy area between forest and street. Lots of tree cover including Alder, Doug Fir, Cedar, Hazels, and Big Leaf Maples. Decent amount of leaf litter from Alders and Maples.
Gills: Purple, free gills.
Stem: Cream turning to a rosy tinge further up. Single ring.
Cap: Large sphere slightly convex in older specimen, with an almost ottoman (chair) look in younger specimens. In the older one the cap fades from ashy to a dark speckled center.
Spore print color: Pink.
Bruising: Only bruising that was noticed was pink/purple when the stem was removed from the mature specimen. No change was noticed on the younger ones when damaged
Other information: No strong scent, growing in a relatively close cluster.

What would you describe the smell as?

It's actually close to non-existant.
There's a slight earthy smell, but it isnt strong.

Is the spore print really pink?
If the base of the stem turns bright yellow when you scratch it, consider Agaricus moelleri.

Lemme get a picture of the print for ya!

There was no yellowing seen when I disturbed the flesh at all.
You can see on the younger specimens which had been picked a good 20min before that there was little to no discoloration.

Due to a lack of anything saying otherwise, I would go with Agaricus moelleri too. But I'm not sure <shrug>

Agaricus californicus has been fruiting in my neighborhood a lot. I wonder if this is also A. californicus. edit- and we live in the same town.
The fruits I found barely stained yellow. I could see it in a picture when I could not see it with my eyes.
I understand the smell is faint but what would you describe it as?

The cap is way too brown for A. californicus.

The extremely advanced scientific technique of using Gimp's color picker in the darkest (i.e. most concentrated area) shows this brown color:

All I can attest to is what I saw with my own eyes.
It did seem to oxidize after a while and get slightly more rusty, and this crappy phone pic doesnt help.
However, when I initially took the print it was pink and still maintains a rosy hue IRL.
