Today is Day 15 for my 9 cakes. The strain is EQ. Well RH is between 90-100% not to sure with my hygrometer it just reads HI after 89%. Temp is betweem 70-80. Ive got a light on it 24/7 now. They are double end cased with verm. I noticed little white furry balls on some of the cakes. All cakes have white bumps. No sign of cotams. I fan out the chamber least 2-3 times a day. I don't know what I am doing wrong but I still am waiting for pins. I will post pictures up here in a few, after I take a shower. Note the pictures won't be the greatest due to the fact I am taking them with a webcam, but its all I got. Thanks check back in a 30 mins for pictures  ]

You could be using too much light. Cut it back to 12 hours for a few days and see if their are any results.

I've only started 24 hours a day, as of yesterday. So thats not the prob.

Here are pics of 2 diff cakes. Notice the furry pertruding balls of mycelium I guess thats what they are. Also notice the bumps. I Hope these will pin sometime in the next week. This is day 15 and im getting pissed. At least they are not contaminated.

Try cutting one in half to check for uncolonized substrate.
Otherwise, just wait. I've had cakes take 14 days to start. Not necessarily a bad sign; sometimes they're "just not ready."

I was in the same situation as you! My cakes were being just damn stubborn, so here's what I did:
1. Dial 911
2. Tell the person on the other end that there has been a domestic disturbance at your residence and that you need help A.S.A.P.
3. Hang Up
4. When the officers arrive and ask you what the problem is, tell them that your colonized cakes are mocking you and they won't listen to you and grow like you want them too!
5. They'll most likely arrest you...but just go along with it
6. Stay in jail for as long as possible
7. Stay away from Bubba
8. Get out of Jail (legally, or escape...but make sure you have been in jail for 2 weeks)
9. Now once your free all you have to do is find your cakes (if they haven't been destroyed) and you'll probably have some good fruits by then!!!!
See, if you need something to pass the time while waiting, jail is the perfect place! Enjoy and pass this info around!!!!

LMAO your da man bro. But I aint doing that shit you crazy irish bastard lmao. I'm just gonna wait it out. I am still recasing my casing cuz i didnt use a bottom layer and its take fucking forever. I added a lil BRF to the verm to speed it up a lil, I dont know if anyone else has ever done this but I am simply experimenting. Peace I'm out I got to wait for my casing layer to cool down in da frig so i can top it off a lil more i didnt make enough of it the first time.
