Is that just gorilla tape on the PVC constructed greenhouse? Also how did you get a zipper attached there? I have the 5 tier pre constructed one but would like to build a larger PVC one in the future.

Yes , gorilla tape. Its really just edge reinforcement tho. If you look close at the "top vent" picture, you can see i have a piece of leftover pvc just wedged, propping it open. I wrapped the whole frame in plastic with the top open, then i just made a lid for the whole thing. The top is just loose all the way around where you see the black tape.

The zipper is self adhesive. Check building supply places(home depot, lowes, ace hardware),hydroponic stores, and paint places. I got mine at the local sherwin-williams.

Interesting, I did not know a self adhesive zipper would be so easy to come by.

So essentially you just wrapped the whole thing in vinyl, then rigged a vinyl top/bottomand secured with gorilla tape, leaving a piece as a vent.

Right now I have a 4 tier greenhouse you buy, but I don't like the idea of messing with tubing and pipes to pump the coolmist into it, leaving it on the ground seems so much easier, but then there's the fae problems, ah the fun of this hobby.

I did not make a bottom. The whole thing just sits in a drip pan

That's right, I think I would make mine out of vinyl because I want one that will be larger than any drip pan I'll be able to find!

Sounds good guys.

This one is 3 times the size of the one from the OP, all built for you. Looks like might be this one for 35 bucks on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HIGH-6-4-77-Large-Outdoor-WALK-IN-Green-Garden-House-Greenhouse-Kit-4-shelves-/261119673803?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ccbf205cb

This ones twice that size for 63 bucks:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/HIGH-6-4-77-Large-Outdoor-8-shelves-WALK-IN-Green-Garden-House-Greenhouse-Kit-/261118437718?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ccbdf2956

Tough to make them for that much cheaper, though your welcome to if thats what you like

Those are both fine options, assuming they are air/watertight but it says polyethlyne so it should be good, i already have one of the 4 tier ones hippiechick uses and am in the process of finding a suitable humidifier and piping to adapt it.

Those ones you posted look like they would have good space where you walk in for a humidifier to sit but then the FAE always makes everything complicated.

mine wound up about $90, including shelves, but i had subs that needed to go in right away and I couldn't find a prefab of suitable size, in town.

I consider mine to be the student model. Definitely getting an education in simplicity.

I'll prolly buy a prefab in the future.

I think those are green nets surrounding the frame.

I beleive the green is just reenforcment molded into the vinal. A lot of greenhouses come that way

They arent, they are plastic with a green grid over it. Check my picture. FAE is easy for the big ones or little ones. Put the humidifier on the bottom and poke holes all over it with a soldering iron.

No vents, perlite shown isnt needed. Simple, easy, and it works.

You can make it as complicated as you feel needed though.
