so almost a month now has gone by since i did my millet jars....well....2 out of the 8 survived....it sucks...i think i had too much moisture in the jars.............each contamed jar had the same thing...spotted green dots everywhere...like deseased chicken poxs

25%'s not bad. Grain can be very trichy...oh. You'll get your moisture content right next time. You can't learn without making mistakes.

You use a 1/4" dry verm @ the bottom of the jar to soak up excess moisture?

And make sure to always drain the amount of time your tek specifies.

gettin millet to colonized is actually easier than PK IMO, u just have to make SURE you drain the grain WELL....
i set it out and just forget about it.... i come back in like an hour and check to make SURE it does not drip at ALL.....
once im satisfied that its not gonna drip, then all u have to do is make sure u Pressurecook it right.......

if your havin problems try 6T's WBS tek.... its fool proof...

Sound like a bad syringe. If you cooked them, most likely the mold spores would have been killed (unless temperature was way too low). It is more likely for bacteria to survive.
