Interesting, But I think the symbols of the fish has to do with the zodiac.
When Christians came about when entered the area of Pisis (fish), before that was Aries (ram), and before that Taurus (bull), you will see all those symbols represented in the older religions corresponding to the eras.

It's hard to see pussy worship falling into that whole (hole) realm considering it is a "spirit" not a "flesh" based religion. Everyone pretty much knows God had a "wife" now - though supposedly in heaven "..they are neither male nor female" nor do they marry - so I mean there wouldn't be any point in holy screwing beyond trying to use magic to birth a live un-deformed baby in a time when they had no clue you needed to eat better to do that.
They used sex rituals to try and birth "supermen" too, so I can see where all that symbolism gets piled all together and the labor of trying to sort through it all.
Plus, if early followers of the way were using a pagan symbol to hide from military pagans.......?????? It doesn't add up. Fine Satanic diatribe though.....

A teacher in High School once explained to the class the origin of the fish. I am not sure if its accurate of even if anyone truly knows the origin.

But... he said that back when christianity was outlawed...
[scene opens in a marketplace]
A christian browses around and starts small chit-chat with a fellow browser. He then proceeds to draw half the fish in the sand with his feet. If the other person is a christian, he would draw the other opposing half to complete the fish. If not, he would simply ask what this weird fellow is doing, and the fellow would reply something back like "oh nothing. just messin' with the sand." (in their vernacular of course).

Actually, this is what I heard:

I was once told that it was a code that early Christians used to identify each other.

One person (a Christian) would draw the first line in the sand. If the second person could not complete the symbol, they could not be a Christian.

I don't know if this is the real reason, but it is plausible... though not as plausible as the Subgenius' explanation [/sarcasm].

Of course the name Lucifer should clue anyone in to the fact that only lies that pervert the Truth are gonna be found at that site. I don't like be lied to, do you? Does anyone?

The fish symbol derives from the Greek word for fish - 'IX[TH]IOS' which is in Greek, of course. It is spelled Iota, Chi, Theta (looks like an 'O' with a horizontal line running through it), Iota, Sum (looks like a side-ways 'M').
The first two letters, Iota (there is no leter 'J' in Greek), and Chi (which looks like an 'X' but translates into the Latin alphabet that we use as 'Ch,' symbolizes I/J for Jesus, and the X for [Ch]rist. The cross was not used by early Christians during the time that crucifixions still happened. Christians didn't call themselves Christians for the first century. They were followers of 'The Way,' and had to practice in secret, under pain of torture and death.

i was told the whole fish thing came around when one guy would draw half of it, one curved line, in the soil with his foot and if the other guy completed it, you knew he was a christian. it came around when they were being persecuted at one time or another apparently.

Railgun, that is one funny fucking logo... did you make that, or is that actually real? That would be pretty damn hilarious if Smith&Wesson were actually promoting suicide.

I read the Bible and some of my own conclusions are along the lines of these "Luciferians". There seems to be a certain amount of truth to them.

I can make web pages, but I haven't learned how to make the changing graphics like that. An online friend made it for me. He combined the Smith-Wesson logo with part of the message from an anti-depressant company and made the rest, the "when nobody loves you ..." part. I like it.

Rail Gun that is one, interesting web site.
After my initial rejection, upon seeing and alien smoking a pipe (crazy) I begun to check out all the cartoons.
There are some real truths in some of them, plus there very funny.
My favorite one "Some one loves you"

Astrologically, Pisces rules the sea, a symbology that runs throughout the New Testament; the fishermen disciples becoming fishermen of men, Jesus walking upon the waters, the alchemy of the fish and the bread, etc. Even the bishop's miter is fish-shaped...

As Carl Jung put it, "...the appearance of Christ coincided with the beginning of a new aeon, the age of the Fishes.  A synchronicity exists between the life of Christ and the objective astronomical event, the entrance of the spring equinox into the sign of Pisces."

The Bible contains many other references that could be interpreted astrologically...

In one story Jesus feeds his followers with 2 fish and 5 loaves. The 2 fish could be interpreted as the two fish of the constellation Pisces. Consequently there are 12 baskets of left overs, one for each house of the zodiac.

Many European cathedrals exhibit symbols of the zodiac in stained glass windows and other architectural features. In 1932, Archeologists unearthed a 4th century synagogue in Israel. And in the very center of the temple they found a beautiful mosaic of the zodiac. It was a representation of God surrounded by the twelve signs of the zodiac...

"Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in." -Jeebus himself

The Sign of the Man stands on the horizon...
