It may be easy to start a business and if your idea is good, then success may be easy. It may take a little bit of money and paper work - that may be it.
A corporation may be owned and operated by one person. I suggesting visiting your secretary of state website and look at the incorporation information. You may want to form an LLC or a Subchapter-S Corporation - these may give you the best liability protections and taxes, not a sole proprietorship.
Then may come the SS4 IRS paperwork, state registration paperwork, and banking - then you may be basically ready to conduct business!
If you may have any questions PM me.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it. I'll probably ask you some questions if I actually go through with this.

i started a small business several years back, 2006 actually. and im still hanging on.
its tough shit to do, but the upsides can be rewarding.
I don't know if I have what it takes to succeed actually. But if I went for it I'd try and start up a funeral home for pets. I'm not married to that idea to. Anything that would bring in money is good enough for me.
how would you compete with taxidermists? Funeral home for pets doesn't sound even remotely feasable when you consider that people who are attached to their pets have them stuffed by a taxidermist and put them on display in their house.

i run a health-beverage start-up and want to branch off into skin care when the business is on its feet.
it's so much better than working for the man, but it takes an enormous amount of time, energy, passion and dedication.
if you have a great business plan/model and a good amount of capital i say go for it!!!!
