Just curious..

Has anyone tried fruiting this strain yet?
Are there any special things one should know about fruiting? (temperatures, time to fruit, etc.)

Any info is appreciated!
Thanks!

I might try and use this next time, all these new strains appeared after I stopped growing, I need to try em.

My friend is going to try some in some quart popcorn jars. It will be his second experiment. The first was B+ on BRF cakes, and they are starting to pin.

I've heard good and bad things about the SA.  For my kitten, these SA's didn't do 'crap' in the jar.  She's still waiting for two whole jars to colonize, while her PR's are about ready to be birthed.  I've heard other people say that they are slow to colonize as well.

ON THE OTHER HAND, I have heard from other posters that *their* SA's are very aggressive colonizers, so who knows?  Maybe it just depends on the situation.  When it comes to their trip, I was told that the SA's are *very very* worth the wait!!!

That seals the choice for my buddy. I just read him your post on the phone, and he said he was going to do the popcorn with it for sure.

I have six South Africans that I innoculated at the same time as 6 Ecuadors. The South Africans are a little bit slower but nothing insane. One thing I noticed about them is that the growth is very thin compared to the Ecuadrs.

i have heard a lot of stuff about AFR being slow to colonize, but my iguana says hers went WAY faster than her B+ jars. In fact they are the first ones she birthed, but this is her first grow so she may not have had everything optimal to do an experiment.

When cased, the SAT overtakes the casing layer rapidly. Which may lead one to suspect that they prefer a little more moisture than other strains.

Well guys, tomorrow my kitten is innoculating another set of jars and is using the rest of her African syringe, so we'll see if this set goes any faster then the last one.
