ok, i have 5 buckets, (45 hp kubota loader backhoe) front bucket that is of horse manure from the neighbor, i added chicken poo to it and straw, where mixing it regulary and watering it, its geeting nice, i also have access to a wood shredder, ajustable, wich could help me make it really nice bulk sustrat, i also have a very big commercial microwave, could i use it to pasteurize my substrat instead of the giant super hot water tek ???? it would be a lot less messy and way simplier, bleach could by added to kill unwanted contam????? Anno, Hippie3, im sure you guys tough of that once or twice and have some ideas

a microwave is not a good way to 'pasturize', nor sterilize for that matter. i'd just go with a hot water lime/bleach bath to pasturize.

A microwave does not heat very evenly. It would be just about impossible to get it to eat everything to the right temp and not higher.

that's what you'd be doing if you nuked that stuff anyway.

while pasteurization has an earthy odor, my experiments with the microwave have proved to be much more offensive in odor.

Nice post. You don't think the narcs who patrol this and every other drug related board on the net will catch on do you?
"Note to self..." Said the nice RCMP officer "Instead of just finding someone growing mushrooms I think we've found someone growing pot and mushrooms"

thank you gratefulldead, but the rcmp officer wont come here, its la surete du quebec who deal with those, and they will be very mad, because my hydro room has been empty long time ago, just the fan and temperature control that i kept to ventilate the house, so....... and also, i use steganos internet anonyme, give false different ip every 10 seconds, plus my real ip change everytime i connect, and the account i use isnt even mine, lol, so good luck if you want to find me
